"My aunt was a Resident in Grove Mount Residential Home until she was admitted to hospital at the end of the year. She'd been there for two years since she became unable to look after herself. I would like to thank all the staff for looking after her so well and making it a home from home for her. I visited her infrequently, as my personal circumstances have been restrictive, but always felt welcome and that I was entering a large but loving family environment. I'm sure that my aunt wasn't an easy, co-operative member , but I felt Mary and all the staff loved her, for the glimpse into the past of nursing that she gave them. Their feelings became obvious to me, promising that they'd pop over and see her when sadly I had to move her to a nursing home."
